Literacy and Numeracy

Strong literacy and numeracy foundations are the cornerstones of learning at St Joseph’s and founded on the Science of Learning. We provide meaningful and engaging learning experiences that extend beyond traditional classroom settings. Our purpose-built ‘Village’ is designed to enhance oral language development in the Early Years, while our middle and upper school students take on the role of "Boost Buddies" to mentor younger students, fostering skill development across all year levels. Our programs are tailored to meet the developmental stages of each student, incorporating play-based learning in the early years and hands-on activities throughout the school.
